Course Overview

The Company Security Officer (CSO) course provides participants with the knowledge, understanding, and practical competencies required to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Company Security Officer in accordance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code). The program is designed to support maritime professionals effectively managing and overseeing ship security operations within a shipping company.

Throughout the course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of maritime security requirements and the procedures necessary to ensure compliance with international regulations. Key areas covered include the development, implementation, and maintenance of Ship Security Plans (SSPs), identification and assessment of security threats and vulnerabilities, and the monitoring and inspection of shipboard security measures.
